Essex X-Ray committed to a 60,000 sq. ft unit at the new office, industrial, R&D and logistics park, Horizon 120, constructed close to the A120 in Braintree. Horizon 120 Business and Innovation Park is a 65-acre scheme, capable of providing up to 750,000 sq. ft of office and industrial space aimed at high-tech engineering and manufacturing, as well as logistics distribution companies. Construction started May 2023 and completion including fit out was May 2025.

Shell and Core
The new facility is designed with sustainability in mind, going above and beyond UK building standards. It will lower carbon emissions, incorporate renewable energy sources for 30% of its energy needs, and utilize efficient design elements like thermal fabric and natural light optimization.
Additionally, the building will feature energy-efficient systems, including a rooftop solar panel array, and intelligent controls for lighting. Management systems will ensure optimal operation and comfort for occupants.

By partnering with Habit Action, we have embraced a fresh perspective on work culture, one that prioritises collaboration and teamwork as essential components of our daily operations. This approach not only enhances productivity and innovation but also fosters a sense of community and mutual support among team members, leading to a more cohesive and successful work place.
We commenced our phased relocation in mid-May 2025, with each department diligently packed and transported the ten-mile distance from Dunmow to Braintree. Every staff member pitched in to assist, and collectively, we successfully completed the entire company move within a span of three weeks, overcoming various challenges along the way!
