WHO WE ARE
Essex X-Ray & Medical Equipment was founded in 1968 and is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high voltage technology. Essex X-Ray became part of the HVT Group of companies in July 1991 alongside Dielectric Sciences (Boston, USA).
In January 1998 Essex X-Ray acquired the interests of Brookvine Services Ltd, a specialist company in resin casting, encapsulation and potting services. Brookvine supplied these services to the electrical manufacturing industry since 1964. This expertise was transferred to the manufacturing operation at Essex X-Ray.
The HVT Group has been majority owned by Heico Corporation (Miami, USA) since 2005. Essex X-Ray is based in Great Dunmow (UK) as part of Heico Corporation’s Electronic Technologies division.
